Welcome to the Sundry Ordering System (SOS) Version 1.5, the versatile, user friendly system for simplifying the process of Sundry ordering and analysis.

The system makes extensive use of standard MS-Windows features such as drop down menus and toolbars to make your tasks as simple as possible.

The major areas covered by SOS are:

  • Supply Companies

  • Supply Items

  • Company Items

  • Orders

  • System Maintenance

  • Reporting Facilities

    • Year 2000 Compliance: Every effort has been made to make the Sundry Order System compliant with the Year 2000. All dates displayed and stored within the SOS system are 4 figure dates.

    If you wish to register the Sundry Ordering System you will need a valid User ID and Password. To obtain your own unique User ID and Password, simply contact Ren Business Software by printing, following the instructions on, and sending us the registration form (Found on the Help menu).

    Having acquired your own User ID and Password, you need to perform the following tasks:

  • Open the Maintenance screen.

  • Enter your User ID and Password into the boxes.

  • Click the 'Register Product' button.

  • Enter your User ID and Password into the boxes.

  • Click the 'Register Product' button.

    • A confirmation message will be displayed if the details have been correctly entered. The registered version of SOS allows you full access to the software with no limitations on the amount of Companies, Items etc. (providing you have sufficient disk space).
